The DHPVA voltage amplifier series has been revised, resulting in the new models DHPVA-101 (DC - 100 MHz) and DHPVA-201 (DC - 200 MHz). Input voltage drift and noise are improved to an extraordinary low level while still convincing with a constant bandwidth at any gain setting.
The voltage amplifiers of the DHPVA series are high precision amplifiers with unique features delivering an outstanding performance. The exceptional low input voltage drift of only 0.3 µV/°C and the low input noise of 2.3 nV/√Hz enable stable measurements with highest precision, even at maximum amplification. Flat frequency response without peaking was an important design requirement, which has been implemented excellently. Moreover, the amplifier bandwidth remains constant regardless of the chosen gain, thus permitting an accurate high-speed acquisition with preserving the signal shape independently of the gain setting.
The gain can be selected from 10 dB to 60 dB in steps of 10 dB, corresponding to voltage gain factors from 3.16 to 1000. Input coupling can be switched between AC and DC and the bandwidth can be set to 10/20 MHz for reducing broadband noise. All parameters can be selected manually at the amplifier or via the digital interface. This unique combination of quality features makes the DHPVA a true universal laboratory amplifier facilitating a nearly perfect signal processing.
